DM-901Firmware Update（Mac）
Purpose:
This software updates the firmware of the DM-901 to version 1.10.
Fixes:
・File transfer function from Android version smart phone app "OLYMPUS Audio Controller" to
the recorder now possible.
・Fixed phenomenon that operation status does not appear at the time of playback speed
changes and also increases the operation stability..
Require Materials:
1. DM-901 voice recorder
2. An Apple Macintosh computer with a standard installation of OS MacOS 10.5 -10.9, equipped
with one (or more) free USB ports.
3. USB download Cable
4. DM901_FWUPDATE_V110.dmg (approximately 6.9MB）
Note:
If the update fails, the recorder could be damaged irreparably. Please read carefully these
instructions before updating. Please note that this firmware update is not reversible. Please
backup all the important files on your recorder to your PC before starting to update. * Update via
USB hub not supported.
Update Instructions:
1. Download the compressed update module to your MAC. (DM901_FWUPDATE_V110.zip)
Extract the file. (DM901_FWUPDATE_V110.dmg)
2. Connect the DM-901 to your MAC.
3. Please backup all the important files in your recorder before starting the update.
4. Exit all application software.
5. Start the update program downloaded.
