The power cord needs to be attached to the unit's back and a grounded wall outlet.
Turn the system on by pressing the power button on the front console; the power switch will illuminate.
Align and fully insert the foot-pedal plug into the socket on the console's rear.
Slide the sheath over the scope, hub end first, until it stops at the distal end.
Thread the tube set's Luer lock connector onto the sheath's Luer lock port.
Position tube set, thread through pump, close lever, and insert IV spike into IV bag.
Insert tubing through pinch valve slot, around hook, release valve, and connect to vacuum canister.
Press and hold the foot pedal for priming; stop when fluid flows from the sheath's distal tip.
Unhook tube set, slide sheath off endoscope, remove tubing, open pump lever, pull IV spike.
