This function allows you to switch s (Scene mode) according to the subject.
1 Set the mode dial to s.
2 Press sr to select a scene mode, and press o.
Shooting s (Scene) Modes
& This mode lets you take pictures as close as 7 cm/2.88 in. to your subject (when
the optical zoom is at the greatest wide-angle).
% Use this mode to take pictures as close as 3 cm/1.19 in. to your subject. In %
mode, the position of the zoom lens is fixed.
1 Press p&.
2 Press sr to select [&] or [%] and press o.
