Remote control shooting (optional)
This function lets you take pictures using the optional remote control
device (RM-1). This is useful when you want to take a picture with yourself
in it or a night scene without touching the camera.
1
Mount the camera on a tripod or place it on a stable, flat surface.
2 Select [<] by repeatedly pressing the
c (Y) button.
If no operation is performed for about 3
seconds, the remote control mode is set
and the mode selection screen is
automatically exited.
3 Press the shutter button on the
remote control device.
The focus and exposure are locked and the
self-timer/remote control lamp blinks for
about 2 seconds before taking the picture.
