8. USE
8.1 UPSTROKE
Place the appliance under one of the lifting points
indicated by the car manufacturer.
Pump on control lever (1 Fig. 10) until you reach the height
you want.
Look after the load all the time.
Put stands of appropriate capacity to support the
vehicle on an area suiting for the weight of the load.
Make the arm go down then put the load on the stands
(see chapter: 8.2 Downstroke page 12).
Check that the load is completely supported by the
stands and is stable.
During the lifting operation, by stopping the
pump the lifting cylinder stops in the position it
has so far reached, such position is stabilised by
the nonreturn valve.
The lifting operation stops at the highest point
automatically.

Release the device when lifting is complete.

8.2 DOWNSTROKE
Place the appliance under one of the lifting points
indicated by the car manufacturer.
Make the arm go up until the vehicle gets lifted from the
stands (see: 8.1 Upstroke page 12).
Take the stands away, press on descent pedal (2 Fig. 11)
until arm is folded (arm completely down).
The speed of the lowering movement is
regulated automatically, regardless of the lifted
weight, so that it falls within the limits speciīed
by the applicable Standard.
The lowering control is a āman on premisesā type
command: when you release the descent device,
the arm stops where it is.
