Remove the packing list and verify that all equipment has been received. If there are any
questions about the shipment, please call OMEGA Customer Service Department at 1-800-622-
2378 or (203) 359-1660.
Upon receipt of the shipment, inspect the container and equipment for any signs of damage. Take
particular note of any evidence of rough handling in transit. Immediately report any damage to
the shipping agent.

The carrier will not honor any claims unless all shipping material is saved for their examination.
After examining and removing contents, save packing material and carton in the event reshipment
is necessary.

Mount the instr ument in a location that will not be subject to excessive temperature , shoc k,
or vibr ation. All models are designed for mounting in an enclosed panel.
Select the position desired f or the instr ument on the panel.
If more than one instr ument is required, only two units can
be mounted closely together, either one abo ve the other
or side b y side . When mounted together, the mounting
collar will require modification b y removing the inside tab
from each collar.
Prepare the panel by cutting and deburr ing the required opening.
From the front of the panel, slide the hous-
ing through the cut out. The housing gasket
should be against the housing flange be-
fore installing.
From the rear of the panel slide the mount-
ing collar o ver the housing. Hold the hous-
ing with one hand and using the other hand,
push the collar evenly against the panel until the spring loops are slightly compressed. The
ratchets will hold the mounting collar and housing in place .
