  If your Omni Desktop flow computer doesn't power on, there could be a power, fuse, or line issue. Try using a spare power supply for troubleshooting. If it still doesn't power on, check the fuses and lines. Alternatively, faulty field wiring might be loading down the system. Remove all I/O and communication cards, leaving only the front panel, CPU, and PSU connected, then reapply power. If it powers on, power it off and inspect and install each I/O board one at a time. If it still doesn't power on, replace the PSU.

Check the heartbeat and ensure the front panel keys beep when pressed. Also, check the system power. Use OMNIPANEL to verify the flow computer is functioning properly. If there is normal front panel functionality through OMNIPANEL, inspect the front panel ribbon cable for damage and bent pins, and verify it's installed with the correct orientation.

  If there is no IV/Gross Flow Rate on your Omni Desktop, it could be because the flow signal isn't reaching the flow computer, or the K-factor is missing. Ensure the flow signal is reaching the flow computer. Also, the K-factor linearization values might not be properly configured. Check under Meter to see if the K-Factor value was configured and whether the K-factor curve was properly configured.

Ensure the density signal is reaching the flow computer. Also, check under Meter Density and Product to verify whether the meter density is properly configured.

Under Product, ensure the Density Override is properly configured. Also, under Meter Density, ensure the live density source is properly configured.

Verify the flow computer is powered on. Test the front panel: if there is a response, the LED is burned out and replacing the CPU card is optional; if there is no response, the CPU is not working and you should replace the CPU.

Check the front panel for the Bootloader screen. Using OMNICONNECT, establish a serial connection to the onboard USB of the CPU, enter Flash Mode, and upload the firmware. If the flash process fails, replace the CPU with a spare.
