3.2 SAFETY DEVICES
The machine is equipped with adequate guards for the protection of the operators exposed to risks
due to moving parts and voltage presence. The following protection devices are installed:
- emergency pushbutton on control panel. If it is pressed, all the actuators immediately stop;
- safety limit switch on the film roll carriage. It intervenes when an obstacle prevents the carriage
from descending. By intervening it stops the carriage’s descent, causes a reverse and makes
the carriage slightly go up, to allow obstacle removal.
