FM Presets
Light / Specialty / Purist presets
Some of these presets have a “warm” variant, noted with Wm suffix. These are similar to the main
versions, but have fewer highs.
Classical
Light dynamics processing with minimal coloration.
ClassicalMovie
Imparts a “movie soundtrack sound” to classical and jazz.
General Purpose presets
All_Purpose
All_PurposeWm
A mostly blank canvas with some reasonable loudness enhancement,
intended as a start point if want to create your own signature sound.
AudioChameleon
A preset designed to mimic the warm tones of its analog older sibling,
Cornelius’ Gould’s Audio Chameleon audio processor.
CircuitBreaker
CircuitBreakerWm
A nod to the Omnia.6exi, a great starting point if you favor Omnia.6.
CGSmooth
CGSmoothWm
A nice starting point for various types of AC formats.
CovertOps
Gives you that stealthy edge to compete, correcting poor spectral balance
and hunting down low input levels. Can make a big splash, but also
knows when to lay low and stay off the radar.
Electra
ElectraWm
Another variation for AC type formats, with a more processed sound.
CosmicPlasma
CosmicPlasmaWm
An excellent starting point if you like natural-sounding mids; sort of a
baby GForce.
HitParade
Thick and smooth, like a good milkshake. Uncompromising density
makes it a good choice for energetic programming that doesn’t want
to fall off the dial. Ever-present bass doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the
spectrum.
