  If your Omron Blood Pressure Monitor displays or a measurement cannot be completed after the arm cuff inflates, it's likely because you moved or talked during the measurement, or the arm cuff didn't inflate enough. Stay still and quiet during measurements. If “E2” appears repeatedly, manually inflate the cuff until the systolic pressure is 30 to 40 mmHg above your previous reading. This issue might also occur if your systolic pressure is above 210 mmHg; in this case, also inflate the cuff manually to the same pressure range.

  If the display of your Omron Blood Pressure Monitor is blank, it's possible the batteries are not correctly installed. Check the battery compartment and ensure the polarities (+ and -) are aligned properly as indicated. Then try turning on the monitor again.
