3-8. Advanced Registration of Patient Information
Registration Procedure
Press the [MAIN MENU] button in the initial screen. Perform "Register / Manage patient info" from
the main menu screen.
A. Importing a text file
1. You will need a USB flash drive.
2. Create the data on a computer.
Create the data as follows:
• Data format: text file*

• File name: PATIENT.CSV
• ID: Alphanumeric characters (upper case), hyphens (-); maximum of 13 digits
• Name: Alphabet, maximum of 40 characters
• Sex: Code input; female = 0, male = 1
• Birth date: Numeric characters, / (slashes); yyyy/mm/dd (zeros can be omitted)
• Height: Numeric characters, 120 to 210, units = cm
• Weight: Numeric characters, 25.0 to 300.0, units = kg
• Waist: Numeric characters, 30 to 250, units = cm
• Disease: Code input*

• Doctor: Character type same as for "Name"
• Technician: Character type same as for "Name"

3. Save the created data to USB flash drive and connect it to the USB port on the device.
4. Press the [REGISTER / MANAGE PATIENT INFO]
button.
5. Press the [ADD NEW ID] button.
