  If your Omron Pedometer display is empty after pressing MODE or MEMO, the battery may be weak or exhausted, so you should insert a new 3V lithium battery type CR2032. Also, check if the polarities of the battery (+ and -) are aligned in the wrong directions and insert the battery in the correct alignment.
