• The meaning of the Output Sub Info is different between when the Change Number of Characters to
Determine the End control command is specified in the Output Data Type and when the Change
Communications Setup control command is specified.
a) The following table gives the Output Sub Info when

the Change Communications Setup control
command is specified. If any of the set values is out of range, 0003 hex (setting out-of-range
error) is returned in the Input Sub Info from the CIF Unit.
