Message What it means What to do
Meter battery
is low but still
has enough
power to
perform a test.
This message will
appear when you
turn the meter on
and there is enough
power for a minimum
of 100 more tests.
Press
OK
to continue,
but replace the battery
as soon as possible;
see pages 36–37.
The meter has
detected a
problem with
the test strip.
Possible causes
are test strip
damage or an
incompletely
lled
conrmation
window.
Repeat the test
with a new test
strip. See blood
application (pages
12–15) or control
solution testing
(pages 30–32) for
instructions on
properly lling
the conrmation
window. If this
message continues
to appear , contact
Customer Service on
