Starting playing at a selected time
1. Press the TIMER button repeatedly
until “WEEKDAY” or “WEEKEND”
is displayed, then press the ENTER
button.
2. Press the π or button to select the
ON time, then press then ENTER but-
ton.
Enter the current time directly by press-
ing the number buttons on the remote
control, then press the ENTER button.
For example:
To set the clock to “7:30”, press the 10/0,
7, 3, 10/0 buttons, then the ENTER but-
ton.
3. Press the π or button to select the
OFF time, then press the ENTER but-
ton.
After storing the ON time, this unit will
suggest an OFF time of one hour after the
ON time you specified.
4. Press the π or button to select the
source (FM/CD/TAPE/LINE), then
press the ENTER button.
If you selected “FM”, press the π or
button again to select the preset station
number, then press the ENTER button.
5. Turn the power off.
Note:
Make sure that the clock has been set
correctly before setting the timer.
Make sure that the specified source com-
ponent is connected to this unit, and that
the CD or cassette tape has been inserted
into the appropriate component.
Before using the timer for listening to or
recording FM broadcast programs, preset
the stations. (See “Listening to the Ra-
dio” on pages 15-17 for details on how to
preset FM stations.)
Set the play order of the tracks before
setting the timer to play a CD so that the
tracks will be played in the set order.
