AIRBORNE NOISE EMISSIONS
Comprehensive tests have been carried out with the Eurocode fitted in a standard
printer frame and mounted onto a typical label applicator. Measurements were taken at
1.6 metres above floor level and approximately 1 metre away from the printer in all
directions.
The measuring equipment used for conducting the tests was a Digital Sound Level
Meter, type d-1405E supplied by Lucas CEL. Before the tests were carried out the
instrument was calibrated and fitted with a foam windshield.
The results shown below are based upon a standard type installation for the printer, the
operating air pressure was set at 6 bar and the air flow restrictors correctly adjusted.
The noise levels shown below are the equivalent continuous "A-weighted" sound
pressure levels in decibels "dB(A)".
