  If your Oral-B Electric Toothbrush handle isn't working with the Oral-B app, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the Oral-B app is turned on. * Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone (refer to your phone's manual for instructions). * Activate radio transmission on the handle by pressing the on/off and mode buttons for 2 seconds until the radio transmission display turns on. * If the Bluetooth connection was lost, pair the handle and smartphone again via the app settings, keeping your smartphone nearby. * Confirm your smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0 (or higher). If not, check the App Store or Google Play for compatible smartphones. * Note that radio transmission is disabled when the handle is on the plugged-in charger.

  If your Oral-B Electric Toothbrush is making short stuttering sounds or flashing lights every 30 seconds or after 2 minutes, or if the timer isn't working, it might be due to the timer settings. You may have the «Professional timer» or «2-Minute timer» activated. Set your timer to 2-Minute timer (stuttering sounds/flashing light after 2min); or set your timer to Professional timer (stuttering sounds/flashing light every 30 seconds). Follow steps under «Timer setup». Also, the timer may have been modified or deactivated via the app. Use the app to change the timer settings or perform a factory reset.

  If your Oral-B Electric Toothbrush handle isn't operating with the existing SmartGuide, here's what you can do: 1. Try synchronizing the handle(s) again via the SmartGuide settings in the SmartGuide’s battery compartment: Press «h/min» for 3 seconds. Turn on the handle that you want to synchronize. Then turn on the second handle you want to synchronize. Press «h/min» or «set» to exit synchronization mode. 2. Activate radio transmission by simultaneously pressing the on/off and mode button for 2 seconds until the radio transmission display turns on. Keep in mind that the handle may not be compatible with the existing SmartGuide, you can synchronize a total of 2 handles only, and during the use of special App features, transmission to SmartGuide may be deactivated.
