Motorcycle air filter is the respiratory system,
its role is to clear the air entering the engine
contained is the dust and impurities to reduce
abnormal wear of the cylinder, piston and piston
rings, extending engine life. If the air filter is clogged
with dust, intake resistance will become larger, the
engine out put power will decline, increased fuel
consumption, but also make the engine difficult to
start, easy to turn off, severe dust
into the interior of
the cylinder, will aggravate the wear of engine
components. So after driving 3000KM per the method
according to the following steps to check the air filter
element and clean.
1.Take down the right side cover.
2.Open the air filter cover screws , removal
of the outer cover , remove empty air filter
paper filter.

6.Reinstall the air cleaner element in reverse order
of the removal. Be absolutely sure that the element
is securely in position and is sealing properly.
3.Using the method of tapping or vibration blew the
whistle on most of the dust, and the brush with a
dry filter paper along the lines sequentially brushing
the dust. Or blown out with compressed air from the
inside of the filter cleaning method, the internal dust
blowing.
4.Clear and clean, it should look at the filter is damaged
,if breakage, you can use an adhesive patch, if the filter
can not be cleaned of serious damage, you should get
a new piece.
5.Wipe dry with a clean cloth air filter cartridge shell
and lumen.

FILTRE À AIR
Le  ltre à air a pour rôle de nettoyer l’air avant d’en-
trer dans le moteur de la poussière et des impuretés pour
réduire la température du cylindre, piston... pour allonger la
durée de vie du moteur. Si le  ltre est encrassé par la saleté,
l’air s’in ltrera plus dif cilement, la puissance du moteur dimi-
nuera, la consommation d’essence augmentera et le moteur
sera plus dif cile à démarrer. De la poussière à l’intérieur du
moteur peut endommager les éléments mécaniques de ce-
lui-ci. Donc tous les 3000 km, contrôler l’état du  ltre à air en
suivant les étapes suivantes.
Cache  ltre
Vis
1. Retirez le cache latéral gauche.
2. Enlever les vis (1), retirer le cache  ltre (2), retirer le  ltre
à air.
3. Pour nettoyer le  ltre, tapotez légèrement dessus pour en-
lever une bonne partie de la poussière et en utilisant un pin-
ceau doux pour nettoyer le dessus. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser
un compresseur d’air en souf ant par l’intérieur pour retirer
la poussière.
4. Après le nettoyage, contrôlez le bon état du  ltre si le  ltre
est abîmé en partie, vous devez le changer par un  ltre neuf.
5. Essuyez la cartouche support de  ltre avec un chiffon doux
avant de replacer le  ltre dedans.
6. Réinstallez le tout dans le sens inverse et assurez vous que
le cache est bien hermétique.
