4.1.1 How to start the engine
Move the main clutch lever to the [Parking] position.
Note:
Make sure the emergency stop switch is run position
Open the fuel valve.
Move the choke lever to the left side. It is not necessary to
leave it at this position once the engine has warmed up.
Move the throttle lever to the middle position.
Turn the engine switch to [START] position. It will move
back to [ON] position automatically.
If the machine does not start within 5 seconds, put the
ignition back to the [STOP]position, and repeat the same
task again with a 10 second pause.
Please do not place the ignition to the [START] position
during the engine rotation. It may cause starter or motor
damage.
After starting the engine, move the choke lever slowly to
the right, while checking the RPMs, and move the throttle
lever to the low position and let it warm up for 5 minutes.
When the RPMs are stable, move the choke lever all the
way to the left. To prevent damage to the engine, do not
operate with the lever in start position.
