Computer Interface Cable
Programming of the HT550 requires a Computer Interface Unit (Figure 4.2.7) which is used to connect the
HT550 unit to a computer. Connection details can be found in Chapter 5 “Computer Connection”.
Remote Input Switch
The Remote Input Switch (Figure 4.2.8) can be used to acquire a GPS fi x, or to power up or down the GPS
receiver and/or RF transceiver. The remote input switch connects to the HT550 Javelin via a 4 pin Omnetics
connector.
12 Volt Cigarette Adapter
The 12 volt Cigarette Adapter (Figure 4.2.9) can be used to power the HT500 RBS from a 12 volt automotive
source or power supply.
