Cleaning and storing the uPure 2
• You may wipe the uPure 2 with a damp cloth. Be sure to wipe the
uPure 2 and parts dry before storage.
• Do not use cleaning agents such as benzene or thinner to clean
the uPure 2.
• Use a clean toothbrush to clean the filtered water outlet and
rinse off any contamination under running tap water and wipe
clean with a clean cloth.
• Rinse the attachment mesh filter and the tap water outlet using
a clean toothbrush.
Cleaning and maintenance of the filter cartridge
• To prolong the life span of the filter cartridge, let the tap water
run for a short time in the morning before switching to purified
water.
• After installing the filter cartridge, do not turn on the tap all the
way. Instead, allow the purified water to flow slowly, little by
little.
• Do not leave the purifier unused for more than 2 weeks. If the
purifier is not in use for more than 2 weeks, please replace
the filter cartridge with a new filter cartridge as it may have
deteriorated.
If the uPure 2 is not going to be used for a long time, remove
the filter cartridge and store it in the refrigerator. When you want
to re-use it, run water through the uPure 2 for 2-3 minutes before
use.
