Adjusting Environmental Conguration: When is support needed?
The target is the recommended setting based on the patient’s audiogram and
a great starting point for patients. We recommend setting the Environmental
Conguration during your patient’s initial tting appointment.

Allows for setting the hearing aids to determine WHEN patients need more
support (directionality and noise reduction).
• Ask patient: “In which situations do you nd it dicult to hear” or “When
do noisy situations go from easy to dicult for you?”
• Move gray slider bar based on their response by clicking on the left or right
arrow. Based on the patient's response, the light gray indicates easier
environments, dark gray indicates more dicult environments.
Those with poor speech discrimination scores may benet from more
separation of speech and noise – moving slider bar to left.
