12 Status and Error Analysis
The following table lists the different error and status messages of the battery indicator and describes their
possible causes and solutions. Users can thereby identify and remedy errors of the B 500/B 500-S power
wheelchair. If a problem cannot be solved with the following instructions, please contact your authorized dealer.
Indicator Cause Solution
Flashes slowly Battery is empty Charge as soon as possible
Flashes sequentially
Battery charger is connected.
B 500/B 500-S not ready for
operation.
Remove the battery charger
Turn off and on
Flashes once every 2.5 seconds
Sleeping mode after long standstill
with control switched on Turn off and on.
Flashes rapidly
Safety-relevant problem
Driving function turned off
Turn off and on.
Check plug connections and
battery voltage
Fast flashing of LED 1 (red)
Battery empty or poor connection
to the battery
Charge the battery or check the
plug connections
Fast flashing of LED 1–2 Poor connection to the left motor Check the motor plug connection
Fast flashing of LED 1–3 Short circuit on the left motor Check the motor plug connection
Fast flashing of LED 1–4 Poor connection to the right motor Check the motor plug connection

Influence by an external signal
