This document provides comprehensive installation and maintenance instructions for the OVE Sedona 48 Shower Enclosure and the OVE Sedona SP 32 Side Panel. These products are designed to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing shower space within a residential bathroom.
The OVE Sedona 48 Shower Enclosure is a complete shower system comprising a fixed glass panel, a sliding door panel, and associated hardware. It is designed to provide a watertight and enclosed showering area. The Sedona SP 32 Side Panel is an optional component that can be integrated with the Sedona 48 Shower Enclosure to create a larger or corner shower configuration. Both products feature tempered glass panels, which offer enhanced safety and durability. The sliding door mechanism allows for easy access and egress, while the support bar ensures structural stability. The design emphasizes a sleek, modern aesthetic suitable for various bathroom decors.
The Sedona 48 Shower Enclosure is available in a 48-inch width (1219mm) and a height of 78 3/4 inches (2000mm). The base depth is 32 inches (813mm). The fixed panel width is 24 1/8 inches (613mm), and the door panel width is 27 1/2 inches (698mm). The door opening measures 17 5/8 inches (448mm), and the distance between the handle holes is 18 1/2 inches (470mm).
For the Sedona SP 32 Side Panel, the width options are 60 inches (1524mm) or 48 inches (1219mm), with a height of 75 5/8 inches (1920mm). The base depth for the side panel is 32 inches (813mm). The wall-to-wall dimensions for the shower enclosure are critical for proper installation, with a minimum distance of 1180mm (46 7/16 inches) and a maximum of 1220mm (48 inches) from tile to tile. If the wall opening is smaller than this range, the support bar can be trimmed, but only on the side without pre-drilled holes.

The installation requires various tools, including a pencil, measuring tape, level, screwdriver, drill with ø1/8" (3mm), ø5/32" (4mm), and ø5/16" (8mm) drill bits, cutter, silicone, rubber mallet, ratchet, 5mm bit socket, and wood blocks.
The shower enclosure is designed for reversibility, meaning it can be installed for either a right-to-left or left-to-right door opening. The instructions are provided for a right-to-left opening, and for a left-to-right opening, the panels are simply switched (mirror effect). This flexibility allows for adaptation to different bathroom layouts.
A critical usage feature highlighted in the manual is the recommendation to install the shower head on the door's side, as illustrated, to reduce the risk of leaking. This suggests a design consideration for water containment within the enclosure.
The sliding door mechanism ensures smooth and quiet operation, providing convenient access to the shower. The tempered glass panels are robust and designed to withstand the rigors of daily use, while the various seal strips work in conjunction to create a watertight enclosure, minimizing splashes and leaks.
Regular care and maintenance are crucial for preserving the appearance and functionality of the shower enclosure. The manual recommends daily cleaning with a wet cloth and a soft liquid cleaner. It explicitly warns against using abrasive cleaners containing acetone, chlorine, strong bleach, scrapers, metallic brushes, or any other objects or products that could scratch or tarnish the surfaces.
Periodically, specifically every 4 months, users are advised to check and re-tighten any bolts used to support the fixed glass panels or door panel. These support bolts are designed to withstand up to 250 lbf*in of torque. For the door rollers, a check every 6 months is recommended, with re-tightening if necessary.
The sealing process is a critical maintenance aspect during installation. After applying clear silicone water sealant around the outside perimeter of all fixed shower components, a 24-hour drying period is required to ensure proper adhesion and prevent leaks. Improper application or insufficient drying time can compromise the watertight integrity of the shower.

The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and covers defects in workmanship and materials under normal use. It does not cover damage from improper installation, lack of maintenance, exposure to corrosive elements, alterations, abuse, or misuse. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products used in non-commercial, residential applications.
For warranty claims, customers are instructed to contact the customer service department via phone (1-866-839-2888) or email (info@ovedecors.com) to troubleshoot the issue and initiate the claim process. OVE reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the product, and will repair or replace defective parts at its discretion. Replacement parts are shipped via ground freight at no cost, with expedited shipping at the customer's expense.
The manual explicitly states that OVE disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. It also limits remedies to repair or replacement and excludes liability for incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages, as well as labor costs associated with removal or installation. The distributor is not an agent of OVE and cannot modify warranty terms.
