To install the RT-XLAN retaining strap, the suction cup should be removed from the extension pole. First pass the strap through a secure point in the vehicle.
It is possible to check that the communication link is working and there are several ways to do this. It should be possible to 'ping' the IP address of the RT-XLAN.
