2. Move a safe distance off the road
and stop.
3. Place the transmission in neutral,
set the parking brake, but do not
stop the engine.
NOTE
Allow engine to idle. Turning off the
engine prolongs
the clutch high tem-
perature condition.
4. Turn on the hazard lights, and use
other warning devices to alert
motorists.
5. Idle engine until clutch temperature
returns to normal operating range.
