My touchscreen appears blank
• On a call: When a call lasts longer than two minutes, the touchscreen dims and may appear to
be blank. Press any key (except Power/End) to restore the normal brightness.
• Not on a call: When a period of inactivity lasts longer than one minute, the touchscreen turns off.
Press and release Power/End to wake up the touchscreen.
• If you can see a dim image on the touchscreen, press Option + Backlight and then press
Left and Right to adjust the brightness.
Nothing happens when I tap the touchscreen
1. Press Applications and use the 5-way to select Prefs .
2. Use the 5-way to select Touchscreen.
3. Follow the onscreen alignment instructions, and then select Done.
4. If your Centro still doesn’t respond, do a soft reset by removing the battery and reinserting it.

How do I turn my Keyguard off?
When you don’t use your device for 30 seconds, the screen turns off and Keyguard activates.
1. To turn Keyguard off, press and release Power/End to wake up the touchscreen.
2. Press Center .
