18.5.47 Outdoor Bypass Outlet Temperature Sensor (F49)
Malfunction Decision Conditions:
During start up and operation of cooling and heating, the temperature detected by outdoor bypass sensor is used
to determine sensor error.
Malfunction Caused:
1 Faulty connector connection
2 Faulty sensor
3 Faulty outdoor unit PCB (main)
Abnormality Judgment:
Continuous for 5 seconds
Check Outdoor bypass outlet temperature sensor
- Plug out connector from outdoor main PCB
- Measure resistance of the outdoor bypass outlet
temperature sensor
Defective sensor
- Replace outdoor bypass
temperature sensor
Yes
Does the measurement resistance
match with values in sensor
characteristic graph?
No
Check the CN-TH3 connector connection
- Turn of the power
- Check connector connection
Poor contact
- Correct connection
No
Is CN -TH3 connector
connection normal?
Defective outdoor main PCB
Troubleshooting:
For safety reason and to prevent component breakdown,
always switch off the power before remove and connect the component.
- Replace outdoor main PCB
