Note
• When setting authentication, set the user name and password, and save
them.
• When users other than an administrator are accessing the camera, the
[Setup] and [Maintenance] tabs will not be displayed.
• The user name and password are case sensitive.
3. Click [Save] when finished.
• The new settings are saved.
• When finished, "Success!" is displayed.
4. Click [Go to Security: Administrator page].
• The Security: Administrator page is displayed.
Note
When the user name and password have been changed, the camera displays
an authentication window. Enter the user name and password, and click [OK].
User Name/
Password
• User Name (6 to 15 characters): Enter the user name.
• Password (6 to 15 characters): Enter the password.
Note
The password must be different from the user name.
• Retype Password: Reenter the password.
• Enter ASCII characters (see page 131). Note that [Space],
["], ['], [&], [<], [>] and [:] are not available.
