Dirt, dust, scratches and bending of disc will cause
misoperation.
Do not place stickers or make scratches on discs.
Do not bend discs.
Disc should always be kept in the case when not
in use to prevent from damaging.
Do not place discs in the following places: Do not touch
1. Direct sunlight e. the underside

Dirty,
dusty
and
damp
areas

Disc Cleaning
Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the surface. If the disc Do not bend. y 2
is quite dirty use a soft ctoth slightly dampened in
isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Never use solvents Spx
such as benzine, thinner, conventional record | |
cleaner, or mopper as they may mar the surface of Wipe the disc from center

Caution for use of a New Discs rough Sages
. x d on outer perimeter
A new disc may have rough edges on its inner and
outer perimeter. If a disc with rough edges is used,
proper setting wil! not be possible and the CD player
will not play the disc. Therefore, remove the rough
edges in advance by using a ball-point pen or pencil as
shown on right. To remove the rough edges, press the
side of the pen or pencil against the inner and outer
perimeter of the disc. Rough edges
