It is required to sign up to become an XM Satellite Radio
subscriber. After checking your XM Satellite Radio 10,
sign up on the XM's website or by calling them.
1 Check of XM Satellite Radio 10.
• Write down the 10 indicated on the lower right of your
XM receiver (XMD1000)/XM DirecF (CNP2000UC).
• Check the 10 shown by tuning your XM Radio to
channel O. (Refer to "Channel Selection" below.)

Select either of the below to sign up.

1 Press [SRC] to select the XM Satellite
Radio mode.
2 Press [BAND] to select a band.

Notes:
• Connect the optional XM receiver (XMD1 000).
To connect the XM receiver (XMD1 000), it is required
to use an optional Digital Adaptor Cable (XMDPAN11 0)
that is produced by XM exclusively for Panasonic
products.
• Connect the optional XM DirecF (CNP2000UC) .
To connect the XM DirecF (CNP2000UC), it is required
to use an optional Connection Cable (CNPPAN1) that is
produced by XM exclusively for Panasonic products.
• "RADIO 10" is displayed with channel O.
• "LOADING" is displayed during the acquisition of audio
data or information.
3 Select a channel.

Preset Channel Selection
Press the numeric button [1] to [6].
Notes:
• Because preset memory setting is performed with
Service IDs in each channel, a channel may switch
to another that has been stored under the same
Service IDs when calling up a preset channel.
However, broadcasting contents are the same as
what the stored channel provides.
• Channel selection is not available during the
reception of channel 1 with category ON. To
receive other channels, set the category to OFF or
switch to another category. (-+ page 16)
