It is possible to set the LED to turn on/off.

8 Basic playback control switches* (> 17)
9 Standby/on switch* (Í/I) (> 14)
Touch to switch the unit from on to standby
mode or vice versa. In standby mode, the unit
is still consuming a small amount of power.
* These buttons work just by touching the marks.
When these buttons are touched, the LED will light up.
