Advanced operations
The unit plays the tracks on a disc in the order you specify.
You can program up to 32 tracks.

Press [PLAY MODE] while stopped
until the illustrated screen appears.
olf "_" appears on the television, press [11 STOP] to cancel
the RESUME function, then press [PLAY MODE].
2 Press the numeric buttons to select
the track (., item _ on page 5 for number entry).
The selected track is stored in memory.
elf you press [ENTER], you can use the cursor buttons [A, V]
to select a track. Press [ENTER] to register the track
number.
eRepeat step 2 to select another track.
elf you enter over 32 tracks, the last programmed track is
replaced with the new one.
3 Press [1_ PLAY].
Play now begins in the programmed sequence.
To exit the screen
Press [PLAY MODE] twice.
To add or change tracks
1. Press [i STOP] twice during program play to show the program
play screen.
2. Press the cursor buttons[k, V}toselect an available item, thec
repeat program play step 2.
ePress [4<, Ibi_ SLOW/SEARCH] to turn the program list pages to
make the selection faster.
To return to normal play
1. Press [11STOP] twice during program play.
(Program play is suspended.)
2. press [PLAY MODE] twice.
3. Press [1_ PLAY].
oThe program is retained in memory.
Operation by observing the unit's FL display
eUse the numeric buttons to enter track numbers.
eTo check the program, press the cursor buttons [&, V] while
stopped. Each time you press the cursor buttons [&, V], the pro-
gram contents (track/program number) will be displayed.
I Clearing the program [
When the program play screen is displayed
oTo clear the programmed tracks one by one
Select the track, move to "Clear" with the cursor buttons [&, V, _1,
I_] and press [ENTER], (Selecting the track and pressing
[CANCEL] also clears the programmed track.)
=To clear the whole program
Move to "Clear all" withthe cursor buttons [&, V, <, I_] and press
[ENTER]. (The program is also cleared when the unit is switched to
the standby mode or turned off, or the disc tray is opened.)
