Also, turn V.S.S. off if sound only comes from the front speakers.

Note that the player automatically switches to standby mode after approximately 30 minutes in stop mode to conserve power.

      If the key operation is not effective on your Panasonic DVD player (either on the player or via remote control), check that the batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarities. If the batteries are depleted, replace them. Ensure you are pointing the remote control at the remote control sensor and are within 7 meters, and that there are no obstacles blocking the path between the remote and the sensor.

      If your Panasonic DVD player fails to start even when the play button is pressed, condensation may have formed; wait 1 to 2 hours for it to evaporate. Alternatively, try switching the player to standby mode and then back on. If the issue persists, disconnect the AC mains lead and then reconnect it. The player may also not be operating correctly due to lightning, static electricity or some other external factor. In this case, press the power button to switch the player to standby mode and then back to on.

      Your Panasonic DVD player may not play the disc because it is not a DVD, Video CD, or CD. Also, DVDs with a region number other than “2” or “ALL” cannot be played. DVDs with multiple region numbers including “2” can be played.
