      If your Panasonic DVD Player has no power or switches to standby mode automatically: * Ensure the AC mains lead is securely inserted into the household mains socket. * If 'Auto Power Off' is set to 'On', the unit automatically switches to standby after approximately 30 minutes in the stop mode. * The Sleep timer may have functioned.

      To resolve a distorted picture on your Panasonic DVD Player: * Ensure the unit is not connected through a video cassette recorder. * Make sure that progressive output has not been selected when the connected television is not progressive compatible. * Press and hold [CANCEL] until the picture displays correctly. The settings will return to '525 (480)i' or '625 (576)i'.

The causes can be: * You inserted a disc the unit cannot play, so insert one it can. * You inserted a blank disc. * The disc may be dirty. * You inserted a DVD-R that has not been finalized. Try these solutions: * Turn the unit off and then back to ON. * Alternatively, turn the unit off, disconnect the AC mains lead, and then reconnect it. * You haven’t inserted a disc: Insert one. * You haven’t inserted the disc correctly: Insert it correctly.

Try these solutions: * Set 'Advanced Surround' in Audio Menu to 'Off'. * Set 'Attenuator' in Audio Menu to 'On' if it causes distortion with 2 ch or 5.1ch AUDIO OUT connections. * Noise may occur when playing WMA. * The disc may have restrictions on the method of audio output.
