What to do if my Panasonic Digital Camera stops recording suddenly?
    • A
      Alexander DunlapSep 4, 2025
If your Panasonic Digital Camera arbitrarily stops recording, ensure you are using a microSD card suitable for motion picture recording. The issue might also stem from reduced data writing speed due to deterioration or frequent recording and deletion; formatting the microSD card using the camera may resolve this. In [SLOW MOTION] mode, a microSD card with a SD Speed Class Rating lower than Class 6 can cause recording to stop suddenly. When [PIXELS / FRAME RATE] is set to [3840k2160/30p], using a microSD card with a SD Speed Class Rating lower than Class 10 can cause recording to stop suddenly.

      Eric ClarkSep 12, 2025
When recording in [SLOW MOTION], the resulting motion picture file from your Panasonic Digital Camera will be longer than the actual recording time. For example, a motion picture recorded in [848k480/ 240fps] (1/8 slow-motion) will have a playback time 8 times longer than the recording time.

If recorded motion pictures from your Panasonic Digital Camera flicker or show horizontal lines, especially when using [1280k720/120fps] or [848k480/ 240fps] in [SLOW MOTION], it may be due to fluorescent lighting.

How to fix a Panasonic HX-A500 Digital Camera that won't turn on or has short battery life?
    • R
      Ronald HolderAug 21, 2025
If your Panasonic Digital Camera won't turn on, doesn't stay on, or the battery drains quickly, try recharging the battery to ensure it has sufficient charge. Note that in cold environments, battery life may be shorter. If the battery still drains quickly after a full recharge, it may be worn out, and you should consult with your dealer.
