• If you do not press any button for 60 seconds or if you press
(STOP) again, the unit will return to the standby mode.
For Caller ID service users (p. 38)
•During playback, when the handset is on the base unit, the handset
display will show the name and/or number of the caller whose message is
being played.
To call back the displayed number:
During playback, lift the handset and press K) or QjE] within
10 seconds.
—The unit stops playback and automatically dials the displayed
phone number.
•After listening to new incoming messages, “V* will be added to the call
entries in the Caller ID Caller List (p. 41).
