t Listening to Messages
From the Handset
If someone else is in the room and you want to listen to the recorded
messages privately, you can use the handset.
1 Handset:
Press [FLASH/CALL WAIT/PLAYBACK) .
•The number of new messages is heard on the handset.

Base unit:
To listen to new messages, press
f NEW MESSAGE/SLOW TALK]
briefly. To listen to all messages,
press and hold
(NEW MESSAGE/SLOW TALK] until
playback starts.
•The messages will be heard on the
handset.
• [ N E W MESSAGE/SLOW TALK) ,
I REPEAT) , fSKiP] and (STOP)
can also be used during playback
(p. 62, 63).
3 When finished, press
[FLASH/CALL WAIT/PLAYBACK]
or place the handset on the
base unit.
•You can also listen to messages without using the base unit. See page 72.
