p to 6 handsets can be registered to the
base unit.

model.
Registering a handset to the
b
ase unit
The supplied handset and base unit are
pre-registered. If for some reason the handset
is not registered to the base unit, re-register
the handset.
1 Handset:
MMENUN
2 MbN: Initial setting a MOKN
3 MbN: Registration a MOKN
4 MbN: HS registration a MOKN
5 Base unit:
Proceed with the operation for your model.

Press and hold M
N
(LOCATOR) for
about 5 seconds. (No registration tone)
n KX-TG2721 series:page 3
Press and hold M
N
(LOCATOR) for
about 5 seconds until the registration
tone sounds.
R If all registered handsets start ringing,
press M
N
(LOCATOR) again to stop,
then repeat this step.
R The next step must be completed
within 90 seconds.
6 Handset:
Press MOKN, then wait until a long beep
sounds.
Note:
R W
hile registering, Base in
registering mode is displayed on all
registered handsets.
R When you purchase an additional handset,
refer to the additional handset’s installation
manual for registration.
Deregistering a handset
A
handset can cancel its own registration to
the base unit, or other handsets registered to
the same base unit. This allows the handset to
end its wireless connection with the system.
1 MMENUN
2 MbN: Initial setting a MOKN
3 MbN: Registration a MOKN
4 MbN: Deregistration a MOKN
5 335 a MOKN
6 Select the handset(s) you want to cancel
by pressing the desired handset number
(1 6). a MOKN
R The selected handset number(s)
flashes.
R To undo a selection, press the handset
number again. The number stops
flashing.
7 MbN: Yes a MOKN
8 MOFFN
