Adjusting Focus Manually
Applicable modes:
Use this function when you want to fix the focus or when the distance between the lens
and the subject is determined and you do not want to activate Auto Focus.

Set the focus mode lever to [MF].

Press [ ].

Press 3/4/2/1 to adjust the focus position,
and press [MENU/SET].

B Peaking
C MF Guide
• The in-focus portions will be highlighted. (Peaking)
• You can check whether the point of focus is to the
near side or to the far side. (MF Guide)
You can perform the following operations:

Press the shutter button halfway.
• You can also perform the same operation by pressing [MENU/SET].
When using an interchangeable lens with a focus ring
Rotate to A side:
Focuses on nearby subject
Rotate to B side:
Focuses on faraway subject
Button operation Touch operation Description of operation
3/4/2/1 Dragging Moves the enlarged area.
Pinching out/in Enlarges/reduces the screen in small steps.
s Enlarges/reduces the screen in large steps.
Switches the enlarged display (windowed/full screen).
[DISP.] [Reset] The position of the enlarged area is reset to the center.
