TRAVEL DATE 1
You can set up your travel plans, including your destination and start and
end dates. The camera will determine your destination’s date and time
based on information stored in this option and in the World Time Destina-
tion option. The camera will also revert back to your starting point’s date
and time based on the information you entered about your return home.
Note: The camera will be able to determine which vacation day pictures
were taken and store the information with the pictures. If applicable, day-
light saving time stored with the World Time option will be taken into
account when calculating the current date and time information.

Resets travel departure date, return date, and location
information. Disables the LOCATION option.
SET
Allows you to set the departure and return date infor-
mation. Enables the LOCATION option.
LOCATION
OFF
Disables the camera’s use of the entered location infor-
mation.
SET
Method to set a location title that will be included
with your pictures and videos during your time at the
location, based on the information set in the WORLD
TIME command’s DESTINATION option during the travel
dates you have specified. The LOCATION option is ena-
bled when MENU/SET>SETUP>TRAVEL DATE>TRAVEL
SETUP>[SET].
BEEP 1
This command sets the volume of the audible beep that signals focus
confirmation. It also signals completion of the self-timer.
BEEP VOLUME
No audible beep will be played.
Audible beep volume will be low.
Audible beep volume will be high.
E-SHUTTER VOL
(Muted)
Mutes the beep volume for the electronic shutter when
recording a Burst Group.
(Low)
Sets the beep volume for the electronic shutter to low
when recording a Burst Group.
(High)
Sets the beep volume for the electronic shutter to high
when recording a Burst Group.
VOLUME 1
This command adjusts the speaker volume for video playback.
Note this does not affect the recording volume.
LEVEL 6
Levels 6 to 1 play back from high to low. Level 0 plays back no sound.
