■ Hold operation
Setting the hold switch to “HOLD” position will
hold the present condition, and reject the opera¬
tion of the front panel buttons except for the Dolby
NR switch.
This is useful to prevent unexpected operation.
(The hold indicator will appear on the display.)
Before operating the front panel button, be sure to
release the hold condition. (The hold indicator will
disappear.)
■ To set the correct time
Release the hold state.
Set the function selector to “TAPE/ 1 off | ”.
Hour setting
1. Press the time set button for more than
1 second.
The hour display begins to flash.
2. During flashing, press and hold the time
adjust buttons (+ or -) until the correct
hour appears on the display.
3. Press the time set button.
The hour display will stop flashing and then
minute display will begin to flash.
Minute setting
4. Press and hold the time adjust buttons (+
or -) until the correct minute appears on
the display.
5. Press the time set button, and the clock is
reset to “0” second.
Dual time setting
This unit has two time settings, one for the present
time and the other for dual time (i.e. a different
time zone).
1. First press the dual clock button for at least
2 seconds.
Dual clock indicator will appear.
2. Now carry out steps 1 to 5 above.
Each time the dual clock button is pressed, the
present time and the dual time switch alternately.
Notes:
•Note that the minute “00” display appears
following ”59", but the hour display is not
changed.
•When the minute display is set correctly and
the time set button is pressed, the clock is
reset to “0” second.
