Battery
Operation:
1)
Open
the
battery
compartment
cover
as
shown
in
the
figure.
2)
Insert
4
‘‘AA”’
size
(National
UM-3
or
equivalent)
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment,
making
sure
that
the
batteries
are
installed
in
the
specified
numerical
order
and
that
the
proper
polarities
are
maintained.
3)
Replace
the
compartment
cover.
To
operate
on
battery
power,
unplug
the
AC
adaptor
from
the
household
AC
power
outlet
and
the
DC
Input
Jack
on
the
unit.
Battery
life
When
the
batteries
are
weak,
the
tape
speed
will
slow
down,
the
sound
will
become
distorted,
and
the
volume
will
decrease.
Depress
the
Playback
Button.
When
the
Battery
Indicator
goes
out
or
dims,
it
is
time
to
replace
all
the
batteries
with
new
ones.
