PLAYBACK

To
play
back
in
stereo,
use
the
Exclusive
Stereo
Headphones
(included).
1)
Open
the
Cassette
Compartment
cover
by
depressing
the
Stop/
Eject
Button.
Insert
the
cassette
as
shown
in
the
figure,
and
then
close
the
Cassette
Compartment
cover.
Full
reel
of
tape
2)
Set
the
Tape/Radio
Selector
to
“tape”.
3)
Depress
the
Playback
Button,
and
playback
will
begin.
The
Battery
Indicator
will
light
up.
4)
Adjust
the
Volume
Control(s)
and
Tone
Switch.
5)
Set
the
Mode
Switch
to
‘stereo’,
the
sound
is
played
back
in
stereo.
(only
when
using
the
Exclusive
Stereo
Headphones).
6)
To
stop
the
playback,
depress
the
Stop
Button.
At
the
end
of
the
tape
the
Playback
Button
will
release
and
the
power
will
shut
off
automatically.
@Tape
Counter
and
Reset
Button
The
digits
return
to
“000”
when
the
Reset
Button
is
depressed.
The
digits
advance
with
the
tape
to
provide
a
reference
to
quickly
find
a
desired
part
of
the
tape.
@
Fast
Forward
and
Rewind
The
tape
will
forward
rapidly
when
the
Fast
Forward
Button
is
depressed.
The
tape
will
rewind
rapidly
when
the
Rewind
Button
is
depressed.
Note:
Do
not
depress
the
Playback
Button
during
fast
forward
or
rewind,
as
this
may
jam
the
tape.
Always
depress
the
Stop
Button
first,
between
functions.
@
“Cue”
and
“Review”
if
the
Cue
Button
(or
Review
Button)
is
partially
depressed
and
held
down
during
playback,
the
recorded
sound
on
the
tape
can
be
monitored
at
a
fast
speed.
When
the
button
is
released,
playback
will
resume.
Note:
If
the
Cue
Button
(or
the
Review
Button)
is
depressed
during
recording,
the
Record
Button
will
be
released.
@
Automatic
Stop
System
When
the
tape
reaches
the
end
during
playback
or
recording,
the
automatic
stop
system
will
release
the
Playback
and
Record
Buttons
and
automatically
turn
the
power
off.
Note
that
the
power
is
not
turned
off
if
the
Tape/Radio
Selector
is
set
to
“‘radio’’,
the
selector
must
be
set
to
“[off]”.
