What to do if Panasonic SC-PM45 Stereo System display is wrong or play won’t start?
    • S
      Steven SmithSep 4, 2025
If the display is wrong or play won’t start on your Panasonic Stereo System, the disc may be upside down. Also, try to wipe the disc or replace it if it is scratched, warped, or non-standard. If condensation may have formed inside the unit due to a sudden change in temperature, wait about an hour for it to clear and try again.

If your Panasonic Stereo System cannot read the USB drive or its contents, or if you see a “USB OVER CURRENT ERROR” or “NO PLAY” message, or experience slow operation, check the content to ensure the USB drive format or its contents are compatible with the system. If the USB mass storage device rating exceeds 500mA, disconnect the USB device. You can also try turning the unit off and then back on. Only MP3 format files can be played.

Why does my Panasonic SC-PM45 make noise, distort sound, or have a low hum during AM broadcast?
    • A
      amberfosterSep 14, 2025
If you're experiencing noise, distorted sound, a flickering stereo indicator, a beat sound, or a low hum during AM broadcast with your Panasonic Stereo System, try using an outdoor antenna. Also, try turning off the TV or separating it from the unit. Separating the antenna from other cables and cords may also help.

    • H
      Hannah LaraAug 21, 2025
If your Panasonic Stereo System has no sound, unfixed sounds, reversed sound, sound coming from one speaker only, humming during play, displays “ERROR”, “- -:- -”, or “F76”, try the following: * Ensure the volume is turned up. * Check and correct the speaker cord connections, ensuring they are properly connected. Turn the unit off before checking, then turn it back on. * Keep AC mains leads and fluorescent lights away from the unit's cables. * If possible, reverse the AC mains lead's polarity by turning the plug or connector over. * Read the instructions to ensure correct operation. * If you plugged the AC mains lead in for the first time or there was a recent power failure, set the time. * If the problem persists, it may indicate a power supply issue. Consult a dealer.
