1.0 Structure and Operating Characteristics
1.1 Key Components
C-SB and C-SC series scroll compressors are manufactured in Panasonic Appliances Compressor (Dalian)
Co., Ltd.
1.1.1 C-SB Series Scroll Compressors
C-SB series are vertical hermetic scroll compressors. The discharge baffle divides the compressor into two
rooms: high-pressure room and low-pressure room. The motor is rigidly attached to the shell; Crankshaft is
supported by main frame and bearing plate which are welded to the shell. Pump assembly consists of fixed
scroll and orbiting scroll and Oldham ring. Orbiting scroll rotates on the surface of the main frame.
