“Smart Grid” function via the Heat Pump Manager
Operating state 4
The heat pump operates in maximum mode according to the congurable
target temperature values, as dened in the table below. The amount of
the increased requirement can be set for the individual consumers via
absolute target values. For example, the target temperature of the hot-
water tank in operating state 4 can be set to a xed value between 40 °C
and 70 °C. The actual values can be set by the user, within the specied
limits. Values outside the min. / max. limits are not possible. The settings
for operating state 4 are listed in the following table.
Terminal assignments
In order to use the Aquarea heat pumps in a smart grid, the HPM must
be assigned the input terminals (Inp1 and Inp2), which the electricity
provider can then use to inuence the operating mode of the controller
(using the two signalling contacts). The controller connections that can
be used are terminals 17 – 26. After assigning the two input terminals
(Inp1 and Inp2) the “Smart Grid” function is active. An open connection
to the Ground reference potential is interpreted as “Off” and a closed
connection is interpreted as “On”.
