As the technician removes the other end of the patch cord completing the MAC request, both
beacons turn off and SmartZone reflects this.
Operation of Beacons outside of SmartZone
The beacons will illuminate based on Trace operations made from the panel pushbuttons or as a
result of setting location mode from a Telnet session.
