Mounting the PTO on the Allison TC10 Transmission

10. Install the 90°elbow in the transmission pressure port (15). Main pressure
tap plug .4375" - 20 UNF-2A torque to 14 - 16 lbs-ft [19 - 22 Nm]
11. Connect hose to the transmission port. Connect other end of the hose
to the PTO 90° elbow located near the PTO solenoid.
12. Remove these 2-Bolts (14) on the transmission and use them to
attach bracket (11). Apply blue thread lock before re-installing
bolts. Torque to 66 - 81 lbs-ft (90 - 110 Nm)
13. Attach the bracket to the PTO output flange ears with the two screws
provided. Torque to 20 - 25 lbs-ft [27 - 34 Nm]
14. See page 19 for electrical and hydaulic installation.
15. Refill transmission with fluid per transmission manufacture recommendations.
CAUTION: Check Transmission Oil Level before running PTO Assure that the
transmission oil is at the proper level recommended by Allison. Refer to
Allison for correct fluid types.
