2. Hardware version / scope of delivery / updates
The basic conguration of your measuring instrument includes the
following:
• "SCM-155-0-02": Connections for two Parker analogue sen-
sors
or
• "SCM-155-2-05": Connection for a CAN bus network for a
maximum of three Parker CAN bus sensors:
• USB power supply (5V 1A), including regional adapters
• USB cable
• USB ash drive
• SensoWin software (included in delivery)
• Printed instructions, electronic operating manual (on the en-
closed disk)
The "Accessories" Chapter includes more information about the
available accessories that are not included in delivery.
2.1 Updates–updatingtheinstrument'srmware
The user can keep the measuring instrument up to date by updat-
ing the instrument's rmware. The update process is described in
this section.
The current rmware version of the instrument is shown during
boot up.
Files with a *.FIMG extension are used for the update. These
les are copied to the measuring instrument. The USB ash drive
should be used to transfer the les.
1 Copy the le with the extension *. FIMG (without sub-folders)
directly from the PC to the USB ash drive. Then plug the ash
drive into the instrument while it is switched off.
2 Disconnect all sensors that may be connected to your measur-
ing instrument.
3 Turn the instrument on and wait until the message "NO SEN-
SOR" is displayed and the Save icon appears in the top bar.
4 Briey press the ON/OFF key.
5 Wait for the following to appear on the display: FIRMWARE
UPDATE
->
OK
6 OK will initiate the update: FIRMWARE UPDATE. Press Esc to
switch off the instrument without updating.
